Chasmanthium latifolium, Northern Sea Oats, Poaceae

Genus and species:
Chasmanthium latifolium

Common Name: Northern Sea Oats
Family Name: Poaceae

This plant is native to the United States eastern seaboard. It is tolerant to shade and has pressed flower heads looking like a cluster of oats hanging on a thread.
