Kalimeris pinnatifida, Japanese Aster, Asteraceae

Genus and species: Kalimeris pinnatifida
Common Name: Japanese Aster
Family: Asteraceae

Unique from other Summer perennials, there are no cultivars of this plant. It has continuous bloom and fern-like leaves that grow on the stem. It is good for breaking up light/dark colors in the garden.
